Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills is a crucial part of training for every CA aspirant. ICITSS is a combination of Information Technology Training (ITT) and Orientation Course (OC). The Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills is a combination of General Management Communication Skills (GMCS) and Advanced Information Technology Training (AITT). Both ICITSS and Advanced ICITSS are effective from the 1st July 2017 and are for 4 weeks each.

What is the importance of ICITSS & AICITSS?

It becomes mandatory to undergo the 4 week-long Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills, which is conducted by the ICAI in its all Chapters across India and also in its foreign chapters. ICITSS should be completed before the candidate starts his/her Practical Training.  Without completing this training, a CA student cannot go forward for his Practical Training. ICITSS can be completed in any of the ICAI recognized chapters by paying the required registration fee for the same to ICAI through the website.

When can one register for ICITSS?

ICITSS is also to be completed before commencing Practical Training for both Foundation and Direct Entry  Routes.

How to register for ICITSS?

The students are required to log in to the online portal at http:/ or visit and Register in a particular batch launched by the Programme Organizing Unit.  After Registration, the students may take a print of the acknowledge slip from the Portal and submit the same along with other documents, as mentioned in the acknowledgment slip, to the concerned Programme Organising Unit at least 2 days prior to the commencement of a Batch. After document verification, the concerned POU will confirm the Registration.

When is Advanced ICITSS to be undergone?

Anytime during last 2 years of Practical Training but, compulsorily before appearing for Final Exam under Revised Scheme / before applying for Membership of ICAI under Existing Scheme.
